Water Resources and Environment

This line aims to provide subsidies for the integrated management of water resources and the environment. The line develops research and topics related to: environmental characterization of watersheds; evaluation of water quality under physical, chemical and biological aspects; evaluation of quantitative aspects of water resources; development of mathematical and computational models as a management tool; environmental education studies as a management tool in watersheds.

Wastewater Treatment

This line aims to develop Environmental Technologies applied to Wastewater Treatment, involving physical, chemical and/or biological mechanisms. It develops from fundamental process studies to technological application works, contemplating, besides physical-chemical aspects, microbiological characterization and mathematical modeling of the mechanisms employed.
