Who we are?

  Established in 2011, the PPGF exists in the form of a “Wide Association”, currently composed of research professors from two institutions, distributed in four locations in the South and Southeast of Minas Gerais.

What we do?

    We offer a Stricto Sensu’s Masters course, with new classes started every six months. By choosing one of the lines of research, the student determines which campus he will take the subjects and conduct his research. The program has 23 permanent professors and 3 collaborators. Research topics are:

Condensed Matter and Particles and Fields.

      PPGF advisors collaborate with research centers in several countries, including: Armenia, Canada, Cuba, Slovakia, Spain, United States, France, England, Switzerland, and Taiwan. These international collaborations allow our students to contact both theoretical and experimental groups, from small to large collaborations, always acting and learning from researchers of excellence in their respective areas.
