Computational Physics Laboratory

The Computational Physics Laboratory (LFC) was founded in 2008, and is intended to provide computational support to the investigations developed in research projects by Professors in the area of Statistical Physics and Complex Systems. Such investigations have as main objective to study emergent properties in complex systems investigated in physics, biology, socioeconomics and engineering.
The laboratory currently has a cluster with a total of 182 threads, consisting of high performance computers purchased with funds from projects approved by CNPq, FAPEMIG, CAPES and UFSJ.
