High-energy nuclear physics

The dynamics of the strongly coupled matter created in relativistic heavy ions collisions, called Quark and Gluon Plasma QGP, can be studied through relativistic hydrodynamics, the only formalism based on first principles capable of describing the evolution of this matter. This line of research aims to study observables measured in heavy-ion collisions, using hydrodynamic formalism, in order to study the nature of the subject, understand how the QGP interacts and which physical phenomena are capable of producing the experimental results.
