Updated October 2024 (please contact us in case of any discrepancies)
This map was initially drawn up in 2018 as a result of a survey carried out by students taking part in the ‘Beer with Science’ course. After revision by the project team, we launched the first edition in 2019. The second editionin 2021 saw revisions, improvements and the addition of new breweries. In the third edition of 2023 (Sept), we standardized the information entries, checked the data entries and updated the new breweries and information for all of them, based on the data provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA). At 2024, we have updated the data from MAPA. Furthermore, additional information on the location and characteristics of breweries was obtained from public sources on the internet.
