UNIFAL’s Postgraduate Program in Chemical Engineering was approved by CAPES in December 2014 and its activities started out in March 2015 at the Advanced Campus of Poços de Caldas/MG.

The Postgraduate Program in Chemical Engineering at UNIFAL-MG mainly proposes to train and qualify human resources (professors, researchers and specialists) as Chemical Engineers aiming to meet job market demands, both in corporate and academic sectors identified regionally and nationally, so as to allow the improvement and development of technologies capable of generating products sustainably.

In this context, this program also proposes to yield research into the areas of Process and Product Engineering and Bioprocess Engineering and enable professionals to perform three technical-scientific activities: teaching, research, and industrial and technological development.
