A PPGEQ coordinator from Poços de Caldas is one of the 500 Women Scientists worldwide organization

Poços de Caldas is already the hometown of 16 women scientists from the 500 Women Scientists.

According to a report published today on the UNIFAL-MG Website, Poços de Caldas is home to one of the 500 Women Scientists international organization. One of these researchers is the head coordinator of the Chemical Engineering Postgraduate Program, Prof. Grazielle Santos Silva Andrade PhD. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Industrial Biotechnology, Professor Grazielle conducts research on Bioprocess Engineering. She stated that “It is an honor to be part of an organization that debates and promotes actions that are so important to women scientists. May our passion for science and our fight for diversity and gender equity in academia be an inspiration for the new generation of female scientists to come”.
